Dust

Dear Dust, why do you keep accumulating?
What is the purpose to your existence?
I do not keep you from fornicating
But everyone is tired of your riddance
Don’t you realise that you’re a bother
To the society and there’s no other
Reason for your cleft…

At this point, the person I was talking to stood up and left.

Mistakes

What are mistakes?
They are assumptions of the
Existence of a correct answer

Like icy snowflakes
They melt down as they
Touch the ground

A mistake today
Can prove to be a solution tomorrow
Seen from another angle

Perceived as fakes
Erased, replaced with something else
They are denied existence

There are no outtakes;
In light of such events
I stand to be corrected

In and out of existence

Praise the Lord!
On this very day
An all-powerful being
Came into existence

As long as it helps
On the way to perfection
Gives your life a direction
Fills your heart with affection
Then I welcome thee hither, creature
Faith and guidance be blessed

But as soon as you stray
And allow yourself, bated
To defile what is sacred
And to reason your hatred
By some thousand-years-old parchment
Then behold! as I scorch it to dust
And thus wipe this poor story
Out of existence
